Hi! I’m Carolina, the founder of Fluentish Academy. I was born and raised in Spain and moved to the U.S. in 2009. I’ve been blending cultures, languages, and plenty of sarcasm (my true mother tongue) into everything I do.
I’m active, energetic, and probably a little too enthusiastic sometimes—but that just means my classes are never dull. I love helping people reach their goals, whether it’s holding their first conversation in Spanish or polishing their English to near-native fluency. My approach is simple: mix solid grammar with culture, humor, and real-life communication so learning feels less like homework and more like hanging out with a friend who keeps you motivated.
I want my students to look forward to class, laugh a little, and leave each session feeling like they’ve really learned something. And don’t worry—whatever your level, we’ll get you where you want to be.

If you’re not sure about your level, you can check our level descriptions. If you know less than 50% of the grammar for a certain level, we recommend giving us a call so we can evaluate your skills and guide you toward the best fit.
We offer small group lessons tailored to each student’s specific needs ($165 per month, which includes a one hour grammar lesson and a one hour conversation class per week). We also offer our beginner course.
The course includes two 1 hour 15 minute classes per week (2.5 hours total), plus one office hour per week. The course runs for 11 weeks.
Office hours are split into two 30-minute sessions. Each 30-minute block is limited to 4 students. Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. To get the most out of office hours, please come prepared with specific questions or a clear idea of what you’d like to practice.
The full 11-week program costs $520. You can pay in full or split it into 3 easy payments. A $200 deposit is required to reserve your spot (non-refundable). The second payment of $160 is due in week 4, and the final $160 payment is due in week 8.
Private lessons are available either online or in person—your choice. The language course is hybrid, with up to 4 in-person spots available.
